Frequently asked questions
Is SPC flooring waterproof?
Yes. SPC (stone plastic composite) has a dense core of stone powder and PVC that does not absorb water or swell, so it suits damp rooms. For areas that often flood, such as open terraces, textured granite or ceramic is still the safer and longer lasting choice.
How many pieces are in a box of 18×122 SPC flooring?
A box of SPC 18×122 cm holds 10 pieces and covers about 2.20 m². It is 5 mm thick and comes in natural oak and walnut. Before laying SPC over an old floor, make sure that floor is level and has no hollow tiles, because SPC planks are thin and follow the shape of the surface under them.
